Massy Foundation is proud to have supported the Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc.’s first Breast Cancer Awareness Walk, held on Saturday, 11 October, across the Bharrat Jagdeo Demerara River Bridge.
More than a walk, this meaningful event brought people together in a celebration of courage, resilience, and hope. Cancer survivors shared their personal stories, reminding us of the strength behind every journey and the importance of continued compassion, care, and support beyond treatment.
We commend the Lotus Cancer Initiative, its volunteers, and everyone who walked in solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. Their efforts help raise awareness, encourage early detection and regular screening, and remind survivors that they are supported.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by cancer across Guyana.
