Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc. Officially Launches Its U.S.A Chapter in Washington, D.C.!
An exciting new chapter in the Lotus journey has begun!
We are delighted to share that the Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc. (LCII) has officially established its U.S. Chapter, marking an important milestone in our mission to transform cancer care through prevention, timely diagnosis, compassionate support, and survivorship.
Made possible by the commitment and generosity of our U.S. members, we hosted our first Meet & Greet and Fundraising Event in Washington, D.C. It was a memorable evening of connection, networking, and meaningful conversations about the work Lotus has been doing in Guyana, the impact we hope to achieve, and the opportunities to expand our reach through international collaboration and collective action.
Beyond fundraising, the evening represented something truly special: a community of people coming together around a shared vision — a world where no one faces cancer without access to care, support, and hope.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our U.S. members, Angie Rajpaul, Melisa Kumar, and Roxanne Weiss, whose commitment, initiative, and support helped make this milestone possible.
