Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and courage of women everywhere.

At The Lotus Cancer Initiative Inc., we see that strength every day —
in the mother fighting cancer while caring for her children,
in the daughter advocating for her mother’s treatment,
in the survivor who shares her story so another woman will not feel alone.

Women are the heart of families.
Women are the backbone of communities.
And women deserve access to prevention, early detection, quality treatment, and compassionate care.

In Guyana, too many women are still diagnosed with preventable cancers — especially cervical cancer.

This is why we advocate for:
HPV vaccination
Cervical cancer screening
Early diagnosis
Equitable cancer care
Psychosocial support

Empowered women prioritize their health.
Supported women survive.
Informed women save lives.
